The Statue of Liberty

When listening to the national song of America, which things do you think about? For me, I think about the Statue of Liberty which is one of the most famous view spots in New York. It also can stand for the symbol of the United States of the America. When I decided to study abroad in New York few months ago, I made a decision in my mind that I must went to see the Statue of Liberty at least once in my life. Fortunately, I have a good chance to go there and just spend $5 for one day trip.
I take a ferry form New York Harbor to Statue of Liberty excitedly. The weather is good enough to be able to see the Manhattan skyline on the ferry. I see The Empire State Building and others I do not know the name. The views are spectacular and amazing. Although I often go to the Manhattan, I seldom see the whole Manhattan view. While arriving to the Statue of Liberty, I can not believe my eyes that the Statue of Liberty is virtually in front of me. However, I feel a little disappointed that I do not climb up the pedestal observatory to see the insider’s of the Statue of Liberty because I have no adequate time. So, this short trip induces me to go there again.
